ri
Mr. Todd Del Frate -2-
DISPOSITION OF LANDFILL GAS CONDENSATE, FOOTHILL LANDFILL
Having determined that the LFG condensate had been contained, the County plans to take the
following actions:
• Remove the condensate from the secondary sump.
• Attach the discharge from the LFG condensate sump to a leachate riser as originally
intended.
• Replace the soil over the exposed pipe and proceed with normal refuse disposal activity.
The separation between the boot and primary liner is high up the side of the cell
(approximately two feet below the anchor trench), so the opportunity for leachate to enter
the secondary sump is minimal.
• Monitor the secondary sump semi-annually hereafter.
If you have any questions, please call me at (209) 468-8504.
Sincerely,
W.
