Staff of the CIWMB's Cleanup, Closure and Financial <br /> CAROLEMIGDEN Assurance Division has determined that the proposed Plan meets the <br /> CMIGDEN@CIWMB.CA.GOV requirements of Title 27, California Code of Regulations (CCR), Sections 20920 <br /> (916)341.6024 through 20939 (see attached Memorandum, dated April 3, 2009. The Plan is <br /> hereby concurred with. <br /> On February 18, 2009, the revised gas monitoring and control regulations to <br /> ROSALIEMULE extend the deadline for compliance with 27 CCR 20921 became effective. The <br /> RMULE@ CA.GOV <br /> (916)341.6016 regulations require operators to fully implement their approved Plan by October <br /> 18, 2009. <br /> Since additional gas monitoring wells are proposed to be installed, your next step <br /> is to work with the operator to ensure that the additional monitoring wells are <br /> installed in accordance with 27 CCR 20925(d). Please inform CIWMB staff of the <br /> proposed time frame for installing the monitoring wells. A copy of the as-builts for <br /> each monitoring well and the final monitoring well location drawing (if <br /> modifications had to be made in the field at the time of drilling) shall be submitted <br /> to CIWMB when completed.
