Box 1810 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> REVIEW OF SECOND SEMESTER AND ANNUAL 2008 GROUNDWATER AND SURFACE <br /> WATER MONITORING REPORT, FOOTHILL SANITARY LANDFILL, SAN JOAQUIN <br /> COUNTY <br /> The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Central Valley Water Board) staff <br /> has reviewed the 2nd Semester and Annual 2008 Groundwater and Surface Water Monitoring <br /> Report for the Foothill Sanitary.Landfill. The Report was prepared in accordance with the <br /> Waste Discharge Requirements (WDRs) Order No. R5-2003-0020. Volatile Organic <br /> Compounds (VOCs) were not detected during the second semester 2008 sampling event. <br /> Well MW-4, located at the northern site boundary shall be considered the upgradie.nt well and <br /> well MW-1 shall be considered cross gradient to groundwater flow. The Discharger proposes <br /> to recalculate concentration limits based on upgradient well MW-4. Once the appropriate <br /> number of samples has been reported, new concentration limits will be proposed for review. <br /> Please review the Monitoring and Reporting Checklist.
