+ • • <br />Mr. Todd Del Frate -2- <br />RESOLUTION OF INVESTIGATION, MODULE 1 SECONDARY SUMP <br />FOOTHILL SANITARY LANDFILL <br />Once drainage is sufficiently complete, we will remove the pump but continue monitoring <br />the water level in the secondary sump, at least semi-annually. We will also monitor the <br />liquid level (if any) in the secondary sump at Module 4 at the North County Recycling <br />Center and Sanitary Landfill as well. <br />We will continue to withdraw soil gas from the soil gas trench beneath the Module as an <br />added protection against escaped volatile components, and to collect the LFG that is <br />apparently migrating under the liner after the liner was extended over refuse of <br />Module "I". <br />If you have any questions, please contact me at (209) 468-8504. <br />Sincerely, <br />W.
