Main Street <br />Stockton, California 95202-3029 <br />SUBJECT: State Inspection Report for the Foothill Landfill, <br />Facility No. 39 -AA -0004 <br />Dear Ms. Heran: <br />Pursuant to Division 30, Public Resources Code (PRC), Section 43220, staff of the Department <br />of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) conducted an 18 -month inspection of the <br />subject facility on June 8, 2011, in conjunction with Robert McClellon of your staff. A copy of <br />CaIRecycic staffs inspection report is enclosed for your records. A copy of the enclosed <br />inspection report has also been forwarded to the facility operator. <br />One purpose of this inspection is to evaluate whether the Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) is <br />appropriately applying and enforcing State Minimum Standards (SMS) at solid waste facilities <br />within its jurisdiction. Therefore, this letter and the inspection report may provide <br />recommendations and/or directions on compliance issues observed during the facility inspection. <br />The facility was evaluated for compliance with applicable sections of Division 30 of the PRC, <br />the terms and conditions of the Solid Waste Facility Permit, Tide 27, California Code of <br />Regulations (27 CCR), and Title 14, California Code of Regulations (14 CCR). <br />There was no violation and/or area of concern noted during the inspection. <br />Your agency's cooperation during the recent inspection is appreciated.
