diameter O.D. PVC pipes; at HLSL and CHSL, the PVC pipes are 1/2" <br /> diameter O.D. Also at FHSL and NCRCSL, there are also several older <br /> style soil gas wells that have perforated tubes installed within the PVC pipe. <br /> For these older style wells, the only work to be done involves installation of <br /> a labcock valve inplace of the as built plastic cap. <br /> 3.0 CONSTRUCTION <br /> 3.1 SCHEDULE <br /> SWD will schedule installation of the GW monitoring wells after approval of <br /> work plan. SWD anticipitates to begin the tube installation project by <br /> beginning of April 2012. The project may involve eight (8) working days <br /> with a work schedule of Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 4.00 pm. <br /> 4.0 HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN <br /> 4.1 RESPONSIBILITY FOR SAFETY <br /> County staff will be conducting all work done during this project. The staff <br /> involved is familiar with and follows county safety practices. <br /> 4.2 WORK SITE SAFETY <br /> The installation of the new PE tubes within existing PVC pipes inside of the <br /> SG monitoring wells does not include excavation of refuse or contact with <br /> refuse. <br /> 4.3 SAFETY PROCEDURES <br /> A safety meeting will be held on the first day of the project to discuss all <br /> safety issues. The following safety practices will be followed during the <br /> project. <br /> 1.
