The item scanned as "DSD Item Markdown Not Allowed Return For <br />Vendor Credit Do Not Dispose In Dumpster" (IMG 1762-1764). When asked why this item was not placed in a HW <br />tote, Raeann stated it would be returned to the vendor for credit. <br />- A PowerXcel Durable Micro to USB scanned as Universal Waste (IMG 1771-1772). This item was identified as <br />waste by Raeann. <br />- Philips Vibes earphones scanned as Universal Waste (IMG 1773-1774), while another open package of Philips <br />earphones scanned as "Dispose in Dumpster" (IMG 1785-1786). These items were identified as waste by Raeann. <br />- Two PowerXcel Rapid Charge Braided 10ft Micro USBs scanned as Universal Waste (1787-1791). These items <br />were identified as waste by Raeann. <br />-The following was found in an open cardboard box labeled as "PILF" (IMG 1811): <br />- CVS Health Pregnancy 2 Test Sticks packaged that contained one test stick, scanned as Toxic HW (IMG <br />1809-1810). This item was identified as waste by Raeann. <br />- The following was found in an open cardboard box labeled as "Expired" (IMG 1814): <br />- Six boxes of Blade Clinical Strength Antiperspirant & Deodorant, expired 06/2018, and scanned as Toxic HW <br />(IMG 1812-1813). These items were identified as waste by Raeann. <br />- The following was found in an open cardboard box labeled as "Damages" (IMG 1820). <br />- Freestyle Lite Blood Glucose Monitoring System scanned as Universal Waste (IMG 1815-1816). <br />- Oral-B Pulsar Toothbrushes containing a non -replaceable battery scanned as "Dispose to Dumpster" (IMG <br />1817-1819). Raeann stated she would verify that this item should go into a Universal Waste tote. <br />- Durex Performax Intense Latex Condoms scanned as Toxic HW (IMG 1821-1823). <br />The items above were identified as waste by Raeann. <br />- The following was found in an open blue bin labeled " Weekly StrongPak Accumulation Bin" and "StrongPak Done <br />Every Sunday," in the pharmacy (IMG 1836-1837): <br />- A bag containing loose pills of Metformin HCL 1,000 MG tablets <br />- A bag containing loose pills of Diazepam 10 MG tablets <br />The items above were identified as waste by the staff pharmacist, Yvonne Mabugat. Yvonne also stated that items <br />placed in the blue bin are processed every Sunday to go into the StrongPak HW tote. <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste.
