ALANIZ <br />Called the resident who hung up on me. <br />Left to investigate complaint with Shewit Woldearegay,EHS. Absorbent was <br />observed on the street at the corner of La Follette Ave and Palm Ave. According to <br />the resident, the leak came from a car that was towed at 9:00 PM on 10/4/2021. <br />Resident had attempted to clean up the spill and placed absorbent on the car fluid. <br />Resident left the scene before any further questions could be asked. No storm <br />drains or water ways were observed impacted by the release. Notified Brain Closs <br />with San Joaquin County Road Maintenance, who stated they would investigate <br />the incident and respond appropriately. Emailed Brian Closs the complaint <br />information at <bccloss@sjgov.org>. <br />Completed the prop 65, photo log, and OIR. <br />Received Cal-OES 21-5484. Road Maintenance called to report the spill. <br />Sent a copy of the prop 65 to Road Maintenance via inter-department mail. <br />Sent an email to Brian confirming I had received the spill report. I also asked him <br />to provide an update on the cleanup. <br />Received a response saying the spill had been cleaned. <br />Typed up a letter to the resident informing them of the Household Hazardous <br />Waste (HHVV) facility. The resident had stated they attempted cleanup with some <br />rags. No rags were observed on scene. Emailed the letter and an HHW brochure <br />to them via regular mail. <br />10/05/2021 Abated complaint. Gave to lead senior for review.
