Environmental Health Department <br />OFFICIAL INSPECTION REPORT <br />FACILITY NAME/TYPE: Thompson & Folger CO <br />DATE: May 3, 2021 <br />ADDRESS: 9100 West Peltier Road CITY: Thornton ZIP CODE: 95686 <br />OWNER/OPERATOR: Thompson & Folger Co TELEPHONE #: <br />TYPE OF INSPECTION: Iii COMPLAINT 0 CONSULTATION 0 OTHER PROGRAM <br />ELEMENT: 2546 RECORD COIWKDM6V ID#: <br />NATURE OF COMPLAINT/CONSULTATION: <br />Two large drums leaking oil on the ground. <br />OBSERVATIONS/COMMENTS: <br />Two drums observed near the fence on the side of the driveway of property. One rusty metal 55 gallon drum was <br />observed empty with bullet holes. 55 gallon drum had a faded 15W/40 oil label. One white plastic 30 gallon drum was <br />observed approximately 1/3 full and did not appear to be leaking. 30 gallon drum had a faded Glystar Plus label. Dark <br />staining of the dirt was observed surrounding the 55 gallon drum in an approximate area of 5x5 feet. Drums appeared to <br />be abandoned. <br />CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: <br />Hazardous waste must be properly disposed of at a facility which can accept the specific type of hazardous waste. <br />Disposal solutions can be found here on the San Joaquin County website: https://www.sjgov.org/solidwaste/howdoi . <br />Small amounts of hazardous waste can be disposed of at the San Joaquin County Household Hazardous Waste facility <br />at 7850 R.A. Bridgeford Street, Stockton, CA 95206. More information and the facility hours of operation can be found <br />here: https://www.sjgov.org/solidwaste/hhw. <br />Abate contamination of the impacted soil and properly dispose of waste generated.
