S A N J D AR I N Environmental Health Department <br /> (L) j ;"� i Y <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> NORTH POLE GAS&FOOD INC 574 W GRANT LINE RD, TRACY December 13, 2021 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days(90 days acute/extremely). <br /> OBSERVATION: The following hazardous waste containers were found on-site with an accumulation start date of <br /> greater than 180 days or no accumulation start date: <br /> -one 55-gallon drum of fuel contaminated liquid was found outside near the dumpsters with a faded label, the <br /> accumulation start date was not legible <br /> -one 55-gallon drum of fuel contaminated liquid was found outside near the dumpsters with an accumulation start <br /> date of 7/17/2020. <br /> -one 55-gallon drum of fuel contaminated liquid was found inside the store storage area that has been on site for 6 <br /> months, an accumulation start date was not listed. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66262.34. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 180 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations. Provide a corrective action statement and a copy of the <br /> disposal records to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br /> were: <br /> -one 55-gallon drum of fuel contaminated liquid was found inside of the store storage room without a hazardous <br /> waste label <br /> -one 55-gallon drum of fuel contaminated liquid was found outside of the store near the dumpsters with a faded <br /> label, none of the label elements were legible <br /> -one 55-gallon drum of fuel contaminated liquid was found outside of the store near the dumpsters with an <br /> incomplete label. The following were missing from this label: generator address, composition (contents), hazardous <br /> properties <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste.
