All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #21 Hot and Cold Potable Water Not Available <br />OBSERVATIONS: The water at the 2 comp sink was 117 F. Provide hot and cold water with hot water at 120 F minimum. <br />Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all times. <br />(113953(c), 114099.2(b) 114101(a), 114189, 114192, 114192.1, 114195) <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed some rodent droppings on counter behind 1 dr Coca Cola display and in cabinets under soda <br />machine. Observed a few rodent droppings on the snack and chip shelves. Per manager the facility is service by a pest <br />control company every month but the invoice was not on site. Observed bait boxes and mouse traps at facility. Clean and <br />sanitize areas immediately and increase pest control measures as needed. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br /> #35 Equipment/Utensils Approved and in Good Repair <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed debris in cabinet under f'real machine. Clean today and maintain clean. <br />Observed some spillage behind soda machine. Clean today and repair as necessary. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All utensils and equipment shall be fully operative and in good repair. (114175). All utensils and equipment <br />shall be approved, installed properly, and meet applicable standards. Provide an accurate thermometer for this cooler <br />within 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An accurate easily readable metal probe thermometer suitable for measuring temperature of food shall be <br />available to the food handler. A thermometer +/- 2 #F shall be provided for each hot and cold holding unit of potentially hazardous foods <br />and high temperature warewashing machines.
