Telephone: (209)835-5680 <br /> Program Element: 1600- FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00055003 <br /> Responsible Party Contact: <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> C00055003 states: "COMPLAINANT WENT TO RESTAURANT ON 6/23/22 AT 7:40 AM AND ALLEGES THEY <br /> OBSERVED EMPLOYEE"VERONICA"SNEEZING ON CUSTOMERS FOOD SEVERAL TIMES. SHE WAS NOT <br /> WEARING A MASK AS SHE WAS CLEARLY SICK ACCORDING TO COMPLAINANT. COMPLAINANT ALLEGES <br /> EMPLOYEE CONTINUED TO SNEEZE AN ADDITIONAL 4-5 TIMES WITHOUT COVERING HER MOUTH OR PUTTING <br /> ON A MASK AFTER CUSTOMERS REQUESTED THIS WHILE COOKING FOOD. COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THE SAME <br /> EMPLOYEE WAS ALSO SPITTING WHILE TALKING OVER A MEAL. COMPLAINANT CALLED TO SPEAK TO <br /> MANAGER AND ALLEGES THE STAFF ADVISED THAT THE MANAGER WAS TOO BUSY TO TAKE A CALL AND <br /> REFUSED TO GIVE THEM THE MANAGERS NAME." <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Roving <br /> AM states that the employee has allergies. Roving AM states that employees are trained to step away from the food prep <br /> area, sneeze,wash their hands, put on new gloves and then return to food prep. Roving AM also states that the complainant <br /> was directed to call the Customer Complaint Line-that way the complaint would be on record and the complainant would <br /> receive a follow-up call.
