Field conditions, in most cases, dictate well construction and for that reason flexibility is
necessary. I appreciate the call from J.C. and the note from you. Good luck with the drilling. I may schedule a site visit
during this phase of activities. I will let you know if I do.
From: Bahadori, Taj [mailto:tbahadori@sjgov.org]
Sent: Tuesday, May 03, 2016 11:23 AM
To: DelFrate, Todd@Waterboards
Cc: Robert McClellon [EH]; Natalia Subbotnikova [EH]; Chandra, Joyesh; Acevedo, Juan; Julian C. Isham of CB&I on the progress of well drilling at Foothill. We began construction
of the wells at Foothill last week per approved EFS. On drilling well SG -2A we encountered Groundwater at 252 ft.,
which is shallower than we anticipated. The geologist on-site will make adjustments based on actual geologic
conditions. Please let me know if this email is adequate notification on this issue.
Thank You
Taj M. I told him to install the deep screen
from 237 to 217 ft, which is a 15 ft separation between GW.
