The County also installed an additional four LFG extraction
wells at LF-2 Module 1.
All wells in LF-1 will continue to be monitored and adjusted to maximize LFG recovery operations without
stressing methanogens or causing air infiltration into the unit. The adjustment and fine-tuning of the 13
extraction wells in LF-1 could continue into the spring of 2017 before optimum vacuum settings throughout the
entire field are obtained.
The County has ordered a complete set of TO-15 analytical tests for the new tri-level probes, once those
results are obtained, a Phase II investigation work plan and schedule will be developed. The Phase II work
plan and schedule will be included in the Second 2016 Semiannual Monitoring Report, which will be submitted
in January 2017.
If you have any questions, please contact me at(209) 953-7316.
Sincerely,
TAJ M.
