CalRecycle received the Plans on November 4, 2015, and February 15,
2017.
Staff has determined the Plans are technically adequate in meeting the Requirements of Title
27, California Code of Regulations. The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department,
Local Enforcement Agency (LEA) approved the plans as part of an RFI amendment on
November 4, 2015. The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) has not
acted on the Plans. Should the RWQCB require modifications to the Plans, CalRecycle reserves
its right to review the modifications to the Plans.
In addition, the operator is required to demonstrate financial assurances for the Plans' costs.
The financial assurances demonstrations submitted were reviewed by CalRecycle Financial
Assurances staff and deemed adequately funded in an internal memo dated March 7, 2017.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact Christine Karl at 916-341-6405 or
Christine.Karla-calrecycle.ca.gov.
Sincerely,
14
Susan Markie, Chief
Permitting &Assistance Branch
Waste Permitting, Compliance & Mitigation Division
cc: Robert McClellon, LEA rmcclellona-sicehd.com
John Moody, CVRWQCB John.Moodya-waterboards.ca.aov
ORIGINAL PRIMED ON 100%POSTCONSUMER CONTENT,PROCESS CHLORINE FREE PAPER
