STATE OF CALIFORNIA California Integrated Waste <br /> CIWMB 3 (Rev. 4/04) Management Board <br /> INSPECTION REPORT ADDENDUM PAGE 2 OF 2 <br /> AGENCY CONDUCTING INSPECTION: San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> SITE NUMBER: 39-AA-0004 INSPECTOR: Garrett Backus <br /> SITE NAME: Foothill Landfill <br /> RECEIVED BY <br /> INSPECTION DATE: June 22, 2006 OPERATOR <br /> COMMENTS: <br /> A routine inspection was done on this day. <br /> 1) Violation—T27 CCR 20919.5—Explosive Gas Control—Perimeter gas well SG-4 contained 6.0%methane <br /> when measured during the inspection. <br /> 2) Note: Measured perimeter soil gas wells for methane concentration: SG-2=0%, SG-4 = 6.0%, SG-6 =0%, <br /> SG-11 = 17.0% (not a compliance point) and SG-12 =0% (all three probes). <br /> 3) 1`?ote: Universal Waste storage -Fluorescent lamps were stored in long cardboard boxes. Small items such <br /> as D size batteries and phones were stored in a covered plastic tub. Electronic waste such as stereos and <br /> computers were stored in a open top metal bin. Obtain covered storage, before the winter months, for all <br /> universal waste to prevent exposure to rain water. <br /> 4)Note: Dust control—Water truck was applying water to the roads and keeping the dust under control. <br /> 5)Note: Litter control—Two person litter crew was picking up litter near the active face. All of the litter was <br /> picked up by the end of the inspection. <br /> 6)Note: Site Improvement Project(SIP)—Work on the module I cover was underway during the inspection. <br /> No exposure of waste was observed during the inspection.
