Disposal Facility Inspection Report (52) <br />Enforcement Agency: County of San Joaquin <br />THE ABOVE FACILITY WAS INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE SECTIONS OF DIVISION 30 OF PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE (PRC) AND TITLE 14 AND TIRE 27 CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS (CCR) <br />20750 - Site Maintenance <br />Comments: Some landfills areas were covered by overgrown vegetation which had made it impossible to <br />determine whether the cover was intact and functioning as it should. <br />a. Operator should maintain the vegetation at a minimum so that site cover inspection could easily be conducted <br />and to prevent surface fires from taking place which could cause a threat to public health and safety and the <br />environment. <br />Notes: <br />A. There was some onsite litter. The litter crew was picking up litter during the inspection. No offsite litter. <br />B. Measured perimeter soil gas well for methane concentration: SG -102= 0% (all three probes), SG -103=0% (all three <br />probes), SG -104=0% (all three probes) <br />C. Records maintained and up to date. <br />D. The site was using a water truck for dust control. <br />E. The site uses soil and tarps for cover.
