Frederick, WPI,on behalf of Shell would like to provide you a status of the ongoing Closure in Place activity. We understand there are the following required actions to complete:l)additional UST borings based on the finding of the pad beneath the UST closed in place,an alternate SOW will be written up and provided to the County. 2)One final piping trench boring. WPI has been working a safe-work strategy to complete the borings in accordance with County requirements but also taking into account the utility and Terminal assets in the area. The SOW will include additional GPR/Utility clearance and continued drilling activity. Due to the additional scope and the holidays,staff and safety issues—this work will be scheduled in January 2022.
