COMPLAINT INSPECTION REPORT <br /> 4:10 pm <br /> 3:30 pm <br />Time Out: <br />Time In: <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Name of Facility: DENNYS #445 Date: 01/04/2022 <br />Address: 642 W CHARTER WAY, STOCKTON 95206 <br />Owner/Operator: SCHAEFER, BILL & DEBBIE Telephone: (559) 313-5388 <br />Program Element: 1600 - FOOD PROGRAM Complaint #: CO0054553 <br />Responsible Party Contact: <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THEY FOUND A ROCK IN THEIR HASH BROWNS. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP º F -- COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />Went to facility for complaint investigation. Met with the manager at Denny's. I informed the manager of the alleged complaint <br />above. Manager reported that they were unaware of the complaint and allowed that I inspect the facility. Manager described <br />and showed me the facility's hash brown processes. The restaurant stores the hash browns in the product packaging in the <br />dry storage room. The hash browns are hydrated in the food prep sink and then stored in the cooler adjacent to the prep sink <br />until ready to restock the supply in the chef's station drawer cooler beneath the griddle. The hash browns are made to order <br />and served immediately after cooking. No issues were identified in the hash browns' source or processes. <br />Inspection Report was emailed to owner. <br />To minimize person-to-person contact, EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the official inspection report <br />instead obtaining a signature. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
