All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #21 Hot and Cold Potable Water Not Available <br />OBSERVATIONS: The hot water at the 1-comp prep sink is 116F and the hot water at the 3 comp sink is 115F. Increase <br />the hot water temperature to 120F (minimum). Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all times. <br />(113953(c), 114099.2(b) 114101(a), 114189, 114192, 114192.1, 114195) <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Upon arrival to the facility, observed an adult German cockroach crawling on the permit/paperwork wall. <br />Employee removed it. Per Assistant Manager, the facility has monthly pest control service. <br />No other evidence of vector activity was observed this date. <br />If activity increases, increase the frequency of the pest control program. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br /> #45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: The coving tiles in the restroom are coming loose from the wall (wall to the left of the hand sink). <br />Re-grout/properly secure the coving tiles by 1 month. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls / ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor <br />surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br />cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br />unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
