17 December 2021 <br />Project No. 21-6681 <br />Page 8 of 14 <br /> <br />o Strychnine for controlling gophers, applied to soil as bait. <br />o 2,4-D Amine and Paraquat for controlling weeds, applied as a liquid to the <br />soil. <br /> Restricted Materials Permit issued in February 2021 for possession and use of <br />pesticides for agricultural use at the property. Permit details indicate that <br />employees handle pesticides. The pesticide inventory included the following: <br />o Aluminum phosphide for controlling rodents, applied as a fumigant. <br />o Strychnine for controlling gophers, applied to soil as bait. <br />o 2,4-D Amine and Paraquat for controlling weeds, applied as a liquid to the <br />soil. <br /> <br />A review of historic Agricultural Commissioner records of the subject property address <br />did not reveal any items of environmental concern with the exception of documented <br />pesticide use. <br /> <br /> <br />6.2. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT / WATER BOARD <br /> <br />The SJCEHD files industrial violations, UST, and hazardous waste records by address. <br />The property addresses 22770 and 22600 South Union Road did not contain any <br />industrial violations, UST, hazardous materials, or mitigation records on file with the <br />SJCEHD. <br /> <br />The SJCEHD also issues septic and well permits. The agency was contacted to provide <br />any permits under the subject property address.
