Stockton, CA Permit #: WP0039413 Inspection Date: 03/22/2019 <br /> <br />The Environmental Health Department recently conducted a water well pump inspection at the above address <br />and found the following issues at the time of the inspection. In order to protect the ground water supply and <br />your water source from potential degradation, please take the associated corrective actions. <br /> <br />☒ Lack of Concrete Pedestal around Wellhead. <br /> (SJC Water Well Standards, Section 4.10. – Surface Seal) Corrective Action: Install a new concrete platform around the wellhead that extends 2 ft. in all <br />direction from the well head. <br />☐ Lack of or Inadequate Sanitary Seal at Wellhead. <br /> (SJC Ord. Code, Title 9, Section 9-1115.5. – Well Regulations) Corrective Action: Install a sanitary seal between casing and well cover plate/seal all gaps and <br />openings. <br />☐ Lack of or Inadequate Sampling Tap. <br /> (SJC Water well Standards, Section 4.13. – Sampling Tap) Corrective Action: Install a non-threaded sampling tap between the wellhead and the check valve <br />or within three (3) feet of the well head. <br />☐ Lack of or Inadequate Backflow Prevention. <br /> (SJC Water Well Standards, Section 4.14. – Backflow Prevention) Corrective Action: Install an approved protective device to prevent backflow and/or back <br />siphonage into a well. <br />☐ Sounding Tube or Air Vent not Sealed. <br /> (SJC Water Well Standards, Section 4.13. – Sounding Tube/Air Vent Pipe) Corrective Action: Sounding Tube or Fill Pipe-Install a watertight, threaded cap at the upper end <br />of the pipe. Air Vent-extend pipe 12 inches above with end inverted in a <br />downward direction and covered with 16-mesh screening. <br />☐ Excessive Vegetation or debris around Wellhead. <br /> (SJC Ord.
