Chandler Martin
May 12, 2000
Page 3
3. Prior to the start of construction of the project, the plans and specifications covering they
provisions in Item Nos. 1 and 2 above are submitted to the CSD for review and approval.
These documents should clearly detail the storm water runoff quality control facilities.
4. After the construction of the project is complete, the applicant, or operator of the storm drain
facility, performs annual water quality testing of the storm water runoff from the project site
for five years. The purpose of the testing is to assure the CSD that storm water quality
control facilities are performing to a level that meets the storm water quality objectives.
5. The applicant should investigate the impact the added volume of storm water runoff from his
project will have on the area immediately north of I-205. If it is confirmed that there will be
adverse impacts, then the applicant should be required to mitigate such impacts.
Thank you for allowing the Mountain House Community Services District to comment on the
subject application. We became aware of this application through Mr. Chuck Kelley of the
County Public Works Department. In the future it would be appreciated that the Community
Development Department add the CSD to the referral list for any future action on this project and
any other projects that may be proposed in the vicinity of Mountain House.
LS:vj
c: James Leonard, CSD General Manager
Francis Lau, Department of Public Works
Michael Hitchcock, Community Development Dept.
Trimark Communities
Condor Earth Technologies
West Yost& Associates
