All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br />OBSERVATIONS: The soap and paper towel dispensers in the restroom hand sink were empty. Observed soap bar being <br />used. Provide soap and paper towels in dispensers today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. (113953.2) Adequate facilities shall be provided for hand washing, food preparation and the washing of <br />utensils and equipment. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(f)) <br /> #21 Hot and Cold Potable Water Not Available <br />OBSERVATIONS: The water at the back room hand sink was shut off. Provide warm and cold water at this hand sink with <br />warm water at 100 F minimum. Water was turned on but hot water was not available because the handle was not working. <br />Provide hot water at 100 F minimum today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all times. <br />(113953(c), 114099.2(b) 114101(a), 114189, 114192, 114192.1, 114195) <br /> #31 Consumer Self-Service Food Protected <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed soda cup lids at the self-service soda fountain placed upside down so that the interior is <br />exposed to potential contamination. Place soda cup lids so that they are facing downwards to protect from contamination. <br />Correct today and email picture of correction to dafonskaia@sjgov.org within 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Unpackaged food shall be displayed and dispensed in a manner that protects the food from contamination. <br />(114063, 114065) <br /> #32 Food Properly Labeled and Honestly Presented <br />OBSERVATIONS: The sign on the ice freezer door was lacking the name and address of the facility. Provide name and <br />address of facility on sign for ice that is made on site. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Any food is misbranded if its labeling is false or misleading, if it is offered for sale under the name of another <br />food, or if it is an imitation of another food for which a definition and standard of identity has been established by regulation. Food facilities <br />with 19 or more chains in the state shall disclose nutritional information.
