All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br />OBSERVATIONS: The meat department hand sink did not have soap available. Provide soap for this hand sink. Corrected <br />on site, pump soap bottle was provided. <br />The restroom hand sink did not have paper towel in dispenser. Provide paper towel in in dispenser. Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(f)) <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed few live and dead cockroaches under lid of chest freezer in meat department. Per owner <br />facility is serviced by California Pest Control two times a month. Clean and sanitize area immediately and increase pest <br />control measures as necessary. Email copy of pest control invoice to dafonskaia@sjgov.org within 2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br /> #30 Food Storage/Display Properly Labeled <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed boxes of vegetables stored on floor in walk-in. Store food items at least 6 in. above floor. <br />Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food shall be stored in approved containers and labeled as to contents. Food shall be stored at least 6" <br />above the floor on approved shelving. Provide label with <br />common name, name and address of where it was made or packaged, and weight of item or by count. Provide label on <br />each container or at point of service.
