STATE OF CALIFORNIA—HEALTH AND WELFARE AGENCY GEORGE DEUKMEJIAN. Ge
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES
31 E. CHANNEL STREET, ROOM 270 j -
STOCKTON, CA 95202 U
(209) 9,147697
Julv 14, 1987
Terry Piazza
Baumbach & Piazza
323 14. Elm Street
Lodi, California 95240
BENSON PLACE AND LAUCHLAND RANCH SUBDIVISION WATER -SEATER LINE SEPARATION
Plans showing the water -sewer line separations for the above subdivisions have
been received and reviewed. The horizontal separations meet the guidelines
established for water -sewer line separation. However, the sewer lines are
much too shallow to permit the water lines to cross over the sewer lines
at most of the crossings shown. This is not a desirable situation even
with the mitigating measures proposed. It is with reluctance that the
water -sewer line separations for these subdivision are approved.
The normal criteria of providing at least 4 feet of cover for sewers
should be adhered to.
The water -sewer line separations in the Benson Place and Lauchland Ranch
subdivisions are accepted as meeting the Water -Sewer Line Guidelines of
the Department of Heal Services.
Robert W.
