State Route 120 <br />Escalon, CA 95320 <br />Re: Escalon Ranch Colony MF -93-4 or DRE 031 021 - SA -A01 <br />The San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division has received <br />and reviewed your amended study dated December 8, 1993 and found it acceptable.. <br />The San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division will approve <br />individual sewage disposal systems and water wells on the above referenced parcels A through <br />F or lots 1 thru 6 under the following conditions: <br />The installation of septic systems must be under an application, permit, inspection and <br />approved by this Department. Systems must consist of a septic tank, leach field and <br />seepage pits sized at the time of construction according to San Joaquin County standards. <br />The permit fee is $114.00. Based on the percolation test sewage pits will be required <br />on the individual parcels at the time of development. <br />The installation of water wells and pumps must be under application, permit, inspection <br />and approved by this Department. Wells are to have a minimum 100 foot grout seal and <br />be installed according to San Joaquin County standards. The permit fee is $134.00. <br />The water in the general vicinity has been found to be bacteriologically potable however, <br />chemical quality has not been ascertained other than nitrate which were found to be within state <br />standards for public drinking water. However there are no state regulations that apply public <br />drinking water standards to private wells. <br />Should you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact Mike Huggins, Supervising <br />Registered Environmental Health Specialist, at (209) 468-3420. <br />Ernest M.
