The installation of septic systems must be under an <br />application, permit, inspection and approved by this <br />Department. Systems must consist of a septic tank, leach <br />field and seepage pits sized at the time of construction <br />according to San Joaquin County standards. The permit <br />fee is $114.00,Based on the percolation test sewage <br />pits will be requi d on the individual parcels at the <br />time of development. 7 9 <br />2. The installation of water wells and pumps must be under <br />application, permit, inspection and app this <br />Department. Wells are to have a minim foot out <br />seal and be installed according to San oaaquin C my <br />standards. The permit fee is $134.00,,. <br />The water in the general vicinity has been found to be <br />bacteriologically potable however, chemical quality has not been <br />ascertained other than nitrate which were found to be within state <br />standards for public drinking water. However there are no state <br />regulations that apply public drinking water standards to private <br />wells. <br />The remaining lots with in this Escalon Ranch Colony antiquated <br />subdivision will require percolation tests performed under permit <br />and inspection from San Joaquin County, Environmental Health <br />Division.
