(b) Remote alarm monitoring <br />SOPUS shall contract with a third -party contractor to provide remote continuous alarm <br />monitoring, diagnosis and notification. The third -party contractor on behalf of SOPUS, using <br />California State -certified analysts and maintenance contractors, shall manage and resolve all <br />UST System and Dispenser alarms. <br />The third -party contractor, on behalf of SOPUS, shall provide for the following. <br />(i) Monitoring of all on-site console alarm events that trigger an "autodial" alann <br />(ii) Diagnosing and troubleshooting all alann events, If an alarm event cannot be <br />diagnosed and resolved remotely, a maintenance contractor shall be dispatched to <br />troubleshoot and resolve the alarm event on-site. <br />(iii) The alarm event shall be managed with the on-site maintenance contractor until <br />the event is resolved or requires further notification and escalation within SOPUS- <br />(iv) Each month, a consolidated compliance report shall be generated for all tanks, <br />product lines and sensor alarms for each of the Current Facilities. <br />(c) Hazardous Materials Business Plans and UST Monitoring Response Plans <br />SOPUS shall contract with a third -party contractor to provide central management of <br />Hazardous Material Business Plan (HMBP) and UST monitoring response plans. Each month, <br />` the contractor shall provide reports to SOPUS that summarize compliance dates for HMBP's and <br />UST monitoring response plans for sites under management. SOPUS shall be responsible for <br />issue management and resolution. <br />(d) UST Permit Management <br />SOPUS shall contract with a third -party contractor to provide site UST permitting and <br />registration services. The contractor, on behalf of SOPUS, shall provide application, <br />maintenance, tracking, renewal, trend analysis and payment for all UST permits under its control <br />as specified by SOPUS- The contractor shall maintain a comprehensive on-line UST permitting <br />tracking database. Copies of all UST pennits, correspondence and renewal status information <br />must be maintained and accessible to SOPUS staff via the contractor's web interface. <br />The contractor shall provide a monthly report to SOPUS detailing the status of open <br />issues. When necessary, meetings or tele -conferences will be held between SOPUS and the <br />contractor management to discuss open UST permitting issues and open action items identified <br />by the risk management software systems. <br />(e) Risk Management Software Systems <br />SOPUS shall utilize or implement risk management software systems to drive improved <br />UST compliance. <br />People v.
