<br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS
<br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint:
<br /> SELLING OLD EXPIRED FOOD, OLD EXPIRED SODA, OLD EXPIRED NOODLES. DRY GOODS ALL HAVE BUGS,
<br /> CEREAL, RICE, ETC.
<br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
<br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7;
<br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health
<br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of
<br /> the food facility.
<br /> #13 Food Contamination and Adulteration Major
<br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed live insects inside rice packages. Observed hole in all purpose flour bag that had insect on the
<br /> bag and insects on shel and under flour bags. Observed live/dead around bottom of boxes of pancake/waffle mix and some
<br /> boxes were partially open. Observed live/dead insects on Maseca corn flour shelf under bag. Observed hole in bean
<br /> package that was near rice packages. Do not sell food items that have been contaminated and remove items that have
<br /> been contaminated from sale immediately. Corrected on site, owner removed the rice, pancake/waffle mix, corn flour, bean,
<br /> and all purpose flour packages/boxes from sale and will discard items later.
<br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Any food is adulterated if it bears or contains any poisonous or deleterious substance that may render it
<br /> impure or injurious to health. No food containing artificial trans-fat,including oil, shortening,or margarine containing trans-fat may be
<br /> stored, distributed,or served by, or used in the preparation of any food within a food facility(113967, 113976, 113980, 113988, 113990,
<br /> 114035, 114254(c), 114254.3, 114377)
<br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility
<br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed live and dead insects on the rice,waffle/pancake mix, corn flour, and all purpose flour market
<br /> shelves. Per owner facility is serviced monthly by Official Pest Control and last service was on 9/23/2022. Clean and sanitize
<br /> areas immediately, maintain pest control.

<br /> #35 Equipment/Utensils Approved and in Good Repair
<br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed cardboard on shelf under flour bags. Remove cardboard and provide cleanable surface today.
