4 ,
. H. KLEINFELDER & ASSOCIATES File No . S-2008-1
January 22 , 1973
PAGE THREE
RECOMMENDED PERCOLATION VALUE
Based on the percolation test results , we recommend an
allowable rate of percolation of 4 gallons per square foot
per day be used as a design value for dry wells or seepage
pits , 25 feet in depth. The percolation capacity of a given
dry well or seepage pit can be obtained by multiplying the
percolation rate of 4 gallons per square foot per day by the
circumferential area of the dry well or seepage pit .
We trust that this report contains the information
required . If you have any questions after reviewing this
report or wish additional information, please contact us .
Respectfully submitted ,
J. H. KLEINFELDER AND ASSOCIATES
Richard M. Wary, C . E . 17675
RMW: pjr
cc: Client (3)
Marshall Dunlap, C . E .
