The following used metal oil or fuel filter containers were on-site: <br /> -One black metal 55-gallon drum containing drained used metal oil filters was observed without a lid and label.A lid <br /> was placed on the drum during the inspection, but a label is needed. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66266.130 Management of Used Oil Filters. <br /> California Health&Safety Code section 25250.22 Fuel Filters <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Label the container with the words"drained used oil filters"or"used gasoline filters", <br /> depending on the contents. Mark the container with an accumulation start date. Dispose of all used filters stored <br /> on-site greater than one year. Used filters not stored, handled and disposed of according to this section are <br /> regulated as hazardous waste. Provide a corrective action statement, disposal records and supporting <br /> documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection report was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection 2/3/2022. The report was <br /> amended 6/15/2022 to remove item number#119 and replaces the initial report. All violations for hazardous <br /> waste have already been corrected. No additional follow up is required. This inspection report is for your <br /> records. <br /> Waste streams found: used oil, drained used oil filters, metal recycling, used oily rags, used absorbent <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
