OBSERVATION: The facility failed to promptly correct visible discharges of oil from the elevator hydraulic oil reservoir. Oil was observed below the elevator reservoir. REGULATION GUIDANCE: (c)(10) Promptly correct visible discharges which result in a loss of oil from the container, including but not limited to seams, gaskets, piping, pumps, valves, rivets, and bolts.You must promptly remove any accumulations of oil in diked areas. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately repair and clean-up any leaks from the elevator and manage all wastes according to the California Code of Regulations Title 22 hazardous waste regulations, submit proof of correction to the EHD. This is a Class II violation. Overall Inspection Comments: An inspection report was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. The report was amended and replaces the initial report. Violation#705 was removed. Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting paperwork, by March 25, 2022.
