This training form is provided for the convenience of San Joaquin County businesses and can be used to document <br /> hazardous waste generator employee training. Businesses can choose to use a different form . San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Specialists, during an inspection, may ask for more training documentation above and beyond <br /> what is reported on this form . Refer to Title 22 California Code of Regulations sections 66262 . 34 and 66265 . 16 for the <br /> complete regulations . <br /> 1 Title 22 California Code of Regulations § 66265 . 16 ( a ) ( 1 ) : The owner/operator shall ensure the training program <br /> includes all the elements in this section . <br /> Z Title 22 California Code of Regulations § 66265 . 16 ( d ) ( 3 ) : The facility owner shall maintain , at the facility, a written <br /> description, including a syllabus and/or outline, of the type and amount of both introductory and continuing <br /> training . <br /> 3 Title 22 California Code of Regulations § 66265 . 16 ( a ) ( 2 ) : The training must be directed by a person trained in <br /> hazardous waste management procedures . <br /> 4 Title 22 California Code of Regulations § 66265 . 16 ( a) : The owner shall ensure that facility personnel complete a training program <br /> through classroom , computer- based , or electronic instruction or on -the-job training . <br /> 5 Title 22 California Code of Regulations § 66265 . 16 ( d ) ( 1 ) : The job title for each position at the facility related to hazardous waste <br /> management, and the name of each employee filling each job . <br /> 6 Title 22 California Code of Regulations § 66265 . 16 ( d ) ( 2 ) : A written job description for each position listed under paragraph ( d ) ( 1 ) of <br /> this section . This description may be consistent in its degree of specificity with descriptions for other similar positions in the same <br /> company location or bargaining unit, but shall include the requisite skill, education , or other qualifications, and duties of employees <br /> assigned to each position . <br /> Title 22 California Code of Regulations § 66265 . 16 ( b ) : Training is required within 180 days of hire or assignment <br /> to a new position .
