Soil Suitability /Nitrate Loading Study Irerracon <br />Munsch Property a Lodi, California <br />January 7, 2022 ■ Terracon Project No. NA217092 <br />1.3.4 Existing Septic Tank Usage in the Vicinity <br />In an attempt to determine the septic system density for the vicinity of the site, our office reviewed <br />a recent aerial photograph of the property available from GoogleEarthTI. The vicinity of the site <br />consists of agricultural land and rural residences. The assumption was made that each <br />building/cluster of buildings has one septic system. Using this method, we determined there are <br />approximately 16 septic systems within 0.25 miles of the site. <br />1.3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity <br />Terracon searched the EHD Public Records website for the adjoining property septic permits. The <br />following table is a summary of septic permits available for the adjoining properties: <br />Table 3. <br />Summary of Adjoining Property Septic Permits. <br />Nr — No septic permits touna, LL — ieacn lines <br />Based on a review of the permits, the septic systems in the area generally appear to utilize 20- to <br />100 -foot -long leach lines and 25 -foot -deep seepage pits or 16 -foot -deep sump. <br />1.3.6 Septic Repair Permit History in the Vicinity <br />Septic repair permits in the vicinity appear to be for the addition of leach lines and seepage pits. <br />Copies of selected septic permits can be found in Appendix C of this report. <br />1.3.7 Expected On -Site Maximum Septic Tank Usage <br />The total maximum daily septic tank usage for the site was calculated based on the EHD <br />recommended daily use rate of 70 gallons per day (gpd) per bedroom assuming double <br />occupancy per bedroom.
