During a routine inspection, a San Joaquin
County Environmental Health inspector observed one half-full 55-gallon drum of used oil,
approximately five small containers of waste oil, and a partially full 55-gallon drum of what
grounds keeper said could be old glue left by the glass plant formally located at this site.
The hazardous waste must be properly disposed of at a facility which can accept the specific
type of hazardous waste. Disposal solutions can be found here on the San Joaquin County
website: https://www.sigov.org/solidwaste/howdoi
Small amounts of hazardous waste can be disposed of at the San Joaquin County Household
Hazardous Waste facility at 7850 R.A.
