Operations include cutting and welding, <br />fueling vehicle storage, flammable liquids and repair shop. Discussed with Lead <br />Senior REHS Garrett Backus. <br />CS - 2001513 <br />10/09/2020 Printed blank OIRs for HW and HMBP in preparation for complaint investigation MURO <br />(routine inspections for new programs) in a property currently operating without a <br />permit- <br />10/09/2020 Met with Alan (last name not provided) who is the person renting the shop at 5023 MURO <br />N Market St. I explained who I was and why I was there. Alan told me he wasn't <br />running a business. All the cars in the shop are his own. He purchases imported <br />cars, then repairs them, then he sells them. He reported he has been renting the <br />place for about a year. <br />The information I gathered: <br />-Alan's phone number: 209-610-1670. <br />His waste streams include used oil, used oil filters, used antifreeze, universal <br />waste lead acid battery cores. <br />- The lead acid battery cores are collected by the supplier when new batteries are <br />purchased. <br />He takes all other hazardous waste to the Calaveras County landfill because he <br />lives in Calaveras County. He reported that they do not give him receipts. <br />He does not generate metals fines as he doesn't work on brake rotors. <br />He does not paint cars onsite. <br />He doesn't have hazardous materials in amounts of 55 gallons of liquid or 500 <br />pounds for solids. <br />10/09/2020 Briefed Program Coordinator Melissa Nissim on complaint investigation findings.
