Walked to the gasoline dump location in the backyard. <br />It is uncertain how the gasoline was dumped onto his property. No odors were observed. No visible staining was observed in <br />the dirt. Property owner excavated the dirt until clean dirt with no odors was unearthed. The excavated dirt is placed aside in <br />the backyard in a pile and in approximately ten 5-gallon buckets. While on site with property owner, called the San Joaquin <br />County Household Hazardous Waste Facility (SJC HHW) to verify that the excavated dirt may be brought there. A voicemail <br />was left, pending a phone call back with verification. If it cannot be taken to the SJC HHW, the excavated dirt may be picked <br />up by a hazardous waste clean up contractor. <br />Clean up is completed, but please provide disposal documents for the disposal of the excavated dirt to the SJC Environmental <br />Health Department. <br />Inspection report emailed to Steve Mann, Property Owner,manns2315@gmail.com <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
