The material is coming from an unknown source. The pond is an <br />acre and a half big and there are 10-15 fish dead in the pond. Bonnie Sanders with Public <br />Health called and wanted to confirm I received CalOES spill report 21-6505. <br />Called Bonnie Sanders at 916-437-8158 and confirmed EHD received the spill <br />report. <br />11/15/2021 -Received a complaint from Jim Hill. Contacted Jim at 530 —624- 7125. Jim Hill at WOLDEAREGAY <br />25441 N. Lower Sacramento Road in Acampo reported that after the heavy rain <br />his acre & a half sized pond filled up and yesterday there were 10-12 dead fish <br />(some fish were 5-6 pounds in size). The pond looked black in color and had a <br />green film at the edge of the pond. No sheen or smell of anything at the pond. <br />The only cause he could suggest is that fertilizer from the nearby farms washed <br />into the pond. This is the first time this has happened. <br />-Incident was report to Fish & Wildlife. Fish & Wildlife said they prefer to receive <br />complaints via OES. Contacted OES and made the spill report. <br />-No businesses are in the area of the pond. <br />11/16/2021 Verified that no businesses surround pond for spill report 21-6505.
