As such, the property is required to have minimum weekly refuse <br />collection service. The Ordinance also requires that residential refuse collection must be provided by a <br />franchised refuse collector. Republic Services is the franchised collector for your area. <br />Republic Services offers a 20 percent Senior Discount for a two person household, if one person in the <br />household is 65 years or older. A 30 percent Low Volume Discount for customers who provide their own 20 <br />gallon container can be applied for also at Republic Services. To apply for a Low Income Discount contact <br />me. To initiate refuse collection service, contact Republic Services at (209) 466-3808. All discounts are <br />based on the single can rate for your area. Please note that your household may qualify for only one <br />discount; multiple discounts are not granted. <br />If you have any questions about the Mandatory Residential Refuse Collection Ordinance, please contact me <br />at (209) 468-8088. Refuse collection service may be initiated in either your name or your tenant's name. If <br />you or your tenant does not initiate service by Friday, October 1, 2021 Republic Services will open an <br />account for this address as required under the Mandatory Residential Refuse Collection Ordinance. As <br />property owner(s), you ultimately are responsible for payment of delinquent charges for mandatory <br />residential refuse collection services for your property.
