The water VUE
is making everyone sick. Looked into the water system bacteriological results.
Spoke to the complainant for more information. The complainant stated that their
granddaughter is sick. She is vomiting and experiencing diarrhea. I was having a
hard time hearing him. Scheduled an appointment with him to meet him in person
to discuss more about the situation.
07/28/2021 Made a site visit to speak to complainant. Met complainant spouse on-site. The VUE
spouse stated that no one is sick currently and they just want to know if the water
quality is good. Explained to the spouse the test results for Total Coliform and E.
coli. The spouse stated that there is an odor coming from the water. Drafted inspection report. VUE
07/28/2021 Received a call from a resident I spoke to during the on-site inspection (7/28/21). VUE
Informed her that the chemical and bacteriological results are under the Maximum
Contaminant Level and there should not be any health concerns that she would
need to avoid using the water. Observed small amounts of sand and dirt in the water. Complainant poured
another cup of water. Observed water vapor evaporating with less sand and dirt in
it. The water was cloudy and became clear after evaporation. Complainant poured
another cup of water from a hose-bib near the RV. Observed water vapor
evaporating and turned from cloudy to clear. Did not observed any sand or dirt in
the water. Unable to detect any feces or urine smells from the water. Complainant
stated that the spouse's daughter and granddaughter has been experiencing
diarrhea, vomiting, and headaches on and off for a few weeks. The daughter did
visited a physician and medication was prescribed to her. The medication has
been helping. The granddaughters have not seen a physician yet. The daughter
and granddaughters stay at their RV occasionally when complainant is away for
work. They shower and drink the water. Complainant stated it is the water that is
making them sick. A neighbor was also sick after the daughter and
granddaughters became ill. The neighbor is better now after a filter was installed.
5105.rpt
