Controlled Access Zone <br /> 7 , Warning Line System <br /> 8, Safety Monitoring System <br /> Pre-Planning <br /> Planning the work in advance , including a thorough fall hazard assessment , will enable <br /> decision makers such as foremen and supervisors to identify workplace hazards , andtake <br /> adequate steps to protect workers from those hazards . Supervisors , who shall also be <br /> Competent Persons , shall assess the work area for fall hazards including : <br /> 1 . Roofs <br /> 2 . Sky lights <br /> 3. Leading edges <br /> 4. Unprotected edges such as balconies , lofts , etc . <br /> 5. Floor holes and openings <br /> 6.
