Section 13 Confined Space Program <br /> • Provisions and procedures for protection of employees from external hazards <br /> including , but not limited to pedestrians & vehicles are also necessary to be taken into <br /> consideration . <br /> • Animals could cause a threat as well . Snakes , rodents or spiders combined with poor <br /> light could be deadly. <br /> Preparation Issuance Use and Cancellation of Entry Permits : <br /> • Western Pump , Inc. employees will only work in a confined space when no other <br /> contractors or another companies workers are present. <br /> • The entry supervisor will prepare the permit following company SOPs and the <br /> guidelines of the permit. He/she will also cancel the entry permit after the proposed <br /> work has been completed and will retain the permit on file for 1 year to be reviewed <br /> and assist evaluate this CSP Program . <br /> • The termination and closing out of a permit shall be done when then entrant exists <br /> the space . The time of exit shall be listed on the entry permit. <br /> • If an additional entry into the space is deemed necessary after the permit has been <br /> closed , a new permit will be filled out following the same protocols . <br /> i <br />
