Walton Blvd. Ste. 3 <br />Bentonville, AR 72712 <br />jamie.barnes@hfa-ae.com <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Jasjit Kang, RENS, Director <br />Muniappa Nam, REHS, Assistant Director <br />UST RETROFIT —FULL PERMIT APPROVAL <br />PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br />Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br />Willy Ng, REHS <br />Steven Shih, REHS <br />Elena Manzo, REHS <br />Natalia Subbotnikova, REHS <br />Re: Love's Country Stores of Calif #223 SR0086898 <br />1553 Colony Rd., Ripon, CA 95366 <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of the <br />application for a permit to do the following on the underground storage tank (UST) system at the above <br />noted address: <br />• Replace existing 87 (T2) siphon piping sump <br />• Replace existing 87 (T2) fill sump <br />• Replace existing diesel (T4) STP sump <br />• Replace existing diesel (T4) fill sump <br />• Replace existing diesel (T5) STP sump <br />• Replace existing diesel (T5) fill sump <br />• Remove direct -bury remote spill containers (for new tanks) <br />• Install remote fill sump for new 87 tank <br />• Install remote fill sump for new biodiesel & diesel tanks <br />• Disconnecting and reconnecting piping for the new sumps <br />• Install brine sensors in the new sumps <br />The permit has been approved with the following conditions: <br />1. Contact the local fire district, the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, and the local <br />community development department for any applicable permits and requirements. <br />2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for written approval <br />prior to commencing work. All new submittals supersede previous ones. <br />3. Email notification to ust(a�si4ov.orq to arrange the following inspection appointments. <br />All appointments must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance. <br />a. Primary <br />piping test for all pipe connected to the newly installed sumps: Soap test of all <br />piping joints and penetrations (product, vapor recovery, vent, and chase), and pressure <br />testing — hydrostatically at 150% of design operating pressure or pneumatically at 110% <br />of operating pressure. If the calculated test pressure is less than 40 psi, 40 psi shall be <br />used as the test pressure. Testing must be conducted in accordance with manufacturer <br />specifications and California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 23, <br />1868 E.
