Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br /> any applicable permits and requirements . <br /> 2 . Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work . All new addenda supersede the previous ones . <br /> 3 . Provide written notification to ust ( sigov . org to arrange the following inspection appointments <br /> ( a 48- hour notice is required for inspection appointments ) . <br /> a . Corrosion protection : Verify corrosion protection for direct bury spill bucketrip or to <br /> backfilling . <br /> b . Spill bucket test : Verify minimum 5-gallon capacity and pass a one hour hydrostatic test (or <br /> equivalent) , after concrete is set . Proper drainage must also be verified . <br /> c . Since concrete will be broken near the 87 tank , a secondary containment test must be <br /> performed on the 87 tank once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer' s <br /> guidelines . <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot receive fuel in the 87 tank prior to the EHD inspection <br /> and approval . <br /> 4 . Individuals installing underground storage tank system components must possess or work <br /> under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site <br /> who possesses all of the following : <br /> a . A valid , current contractor' s license issued by the Contractors State License Board <br /> b . A valid , current UST Installation /Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code <br /> Council ( ICC ) <br /> c . A valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s ) of the component (s) being <br /> installed <br /> 1868 E .
