These two projects are incorporated in a County
service area which is to be served by a community water
system consisting of a primary and stand-by well. Both
wells are to be tied together for the purpose of supplying
domestic drinking water and fire flow water for the two
projects. We have sufficient quantity of water but the
quality of the water is slightly higher than the State
of California standard.
In August of this year, the well driller obtained an
electric well log which indicated that well #1 was sub-
stantially below the State standard of 1,000 TDS and
such well gis hereby
that well #2locatedon the lLos dwould anticipate
Ranchos e
have a similar TDS count.
When well #1 was completely installed and the development
process commenced, the TDS jumped to 1,150 ppm which is
150 parts over the State Title 22 standard of 1,000 Ppm -
Based on the initial electric well log, we proceeded to
develope the Santos Ranch Unit #5 subdivision and have
houses ready to occupy thereon and are looking for some
immediate recommendations as to what can be done
to lower
the TDS to a maximum of 1,000 ppm.
