Mike Slaven
- December 11, 1984 - -
Page Two
As previously mentioned, this is a rural subdivision and
a high percentage of the water will be used for irrigating
each of the parcels. It is likely that we can obtain
County approval of this water system if water which con-
tains a TDS factor of less than 1,000 is delivered to the
cold water drinking taps within each household. Another
which
concern is the collection and disposal ofrocessthatwise
the treating p complete.
would be the residue after
The County prefers a source treatment facility -for -all of
the water and since the TDS has to be lowered only slightly,
perhaps that is the best alternative. However, I would
restate that only a very small percentage of the water that
would be ingested, would require- treatment. With these
comments in mind, I would appreciate some early response
from you.
Sincerely,
W. Dave Olmstead
Enclosures
cc: Ernie Davis
WDO/bw
6
