The following UW was stored on-site: one mercury lamp and one fluorescent tube lamp. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66273.35 Accumulation Time Limits <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Since it could not be demonstrated how long this UW was stored on site, immediately <br /> dispose of this UW in accordance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations. Provide a corrective action <br /> statement, the disposal record and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection report was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection. After receiving more <br /> information about the facility on 3-18-22 from SPX, the report was amended on 3-28-22 removing violations <br /> 501, 502 and 507 and replaces the initial report. All violations on this report have been resolved. <br /> Waste streams generated by this facility: hazardous waste solids cleaned from the stormwater collection system, <br /> filter cake hazardous waste from the water treatment system filter press, used oil, universal waste lamps. <br /> The site has generated the following amounts of hazardous waste: zero tons in 2021, 14 tons in 2020, 72 tons in <br /> 2019 and 30 tons so far in 2022. <br /> Four 20 cubic yard bins of hazardous waste solids, labeled with an accumulation date of approximately February <br /> 8, 2022, were observed south of the water treatment building. <br /> This facility is exempt from a CUPA Tiered hazardous waste treatment permit per California Health &Safety <br /> Code 25358.9. This is a groundwater remediation site overseen by DTSC and the Water Board. It's listed in <br /> Envirostor under Marley Cooling Tower, 150 N Sinclair. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
