Approximately eight UW lamps were observed not stored in closed containers or <br /> labeled. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66273.33 Universal Waste Management <br /> Requirements for Batteries, Lamps, and Mercury-Containing Equipment <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately place all UW lamps into closed, structurally sound containers with labeling: <br /> "universal waste-lamps". Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 708 HSC 25201.16(f) Failed to properly store and label containers of hazardous waste aerosol cans. <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility is managing universal waste(UW)aerosol can storage containers in a way that is out <br /> of compliance with this section. The following UW aerosol can storage containers were found: <br /> 1.A tote of UW aerosol cans was labeled"Universal Waste Paint" <br /> 2.A tote of UW aerosol cans was labeled"Universal Waste Aerosol" <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: California Health &Safety Code section 25201.16 <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Label the containers of UW aerosol cans as"Universal Waste-Aerosol Cans" Provide a <br /> corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 712 CCR 66273.34 Universal Waste Handler failed to label universal waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility has not labeled their universal waste(UW)as required by this section.
