All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed few rodent droppings on top of dishwasher. Per executive director facility is serviced by Orkin <br />pest control monthly. Clean and sanitize area immediately and increase pest measures as necessary. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br /> #27 Food Protected from Contamination <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed debris inside ice machine. Clean today and maintain clean. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food shall be separated and protected from contamination. (113984 (a, b, c, d, f), 113986, 114060, <br />114067(a, d, e, j), 114069(a, b), 114077, 114089.1 (c), 114143 (c)) <br /> #34 Warewashing Facilites Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Lacking chlorine test strips. Provide chlorine test strips within 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Food facilities that prepare food shall be equipped with warewashing facilities. Testing equipment and <br />materials shall be provided to measure the applicable sanitization method. Discontinue using the dishwasher for sanitizing <br />equipment/utensils until it provides at least 50 ppm chlorine. Use 2 comp sink for manual sanitizing of utensils/equipment <br />with at least 100 ppm chlorine until dishwasher is fixed. Repair dishwasher within 2 weeks and provide evidence of repair to <br />dafonskaia@sjgov.org <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All utensils and equipment shall be fully operative and in good repair.
